Beautiful heavily corroded Polish antique Weberbauer biere enamel beer advertising sign.

Weberbauer biere dates back to the 1850's. A Weberbauer purchased the Głubczyce city brewery. He had big plans to make this the largest brewery in the area. After his death approximately 20 years later, the brewery went through a number of successful ownerships. It continued growing its capabilities and production up to just before WWII.

After the war, the business was nationalised. Before returning to private ownership in around 2004. The brewery is now known as Zakłady Piwowarskie Głubczyce, and owned by Merkury Ltd.

Fantastic natural corroded condition. Superbly decorative piece of Breweriana. Advertising the historic Weberbauer brand of beer.
